Meet Our Furry Superheroes!

Our amazing dogs are the real MVPs (Most Valuable Pups!) of our HighOctane Heroes program and beyond! These incredible canines serve as Animal-Assisted Activity (AAA) animals, bringing joy, comfort, and learning to children’s lives.

Through our programs, kids develop essential life skills like:

– Positive reinforcement techniques (because who doesn’t love treats and belly rubs?)

– Empathy and compassion (for all living creatures, furry and non-furry!)

– Communication skills (paws-itive communication, that is!)

– Focus and concentration (no more squirrel-chasing… unless it’s a squirrel-themed toy, of course!)

– Anger management and self-regulation techniques (because sometimes, you just need to take a deep breath and paws for a moment!)

But here’s the best part: our furry friends are hard rescues, plucked from euthanasia lists due to behavioral challenges, illness, or injury. We’re talking dogs that were once considered “unadoptable” – but we know they’re actually superheroes in disguise!

By joining our program, these incredible animals get a second chance at life, complete with:

– A new lease on life, free from the threat of euthanasia (YAAAS, second chances!)

– Rehabilitation and training to tackle behavioral challenges (because everyone deserves a fresh start!)

– Medical care and treatment for underlying health issues (we’ve got the best vet squad on speed dial!)

– A loving and stable environment, either through our program or in foster homes (cozy beds and snuggles galore!)

– The chance to form unbreakable bonds with kids and make a real difference in their lives (the ultimate reward – snuggles and slobbery kisses!)

We typically work with 1-2 hard rescues at a time, while the rest of our furry friends are living their best lives in foster homes. By rescuing, rehabilitating, and loving these incredible animals, we’re creating a ripple effect of kindness, compassion, and joy that benefits everyone involved!

Ready to join the pack and help make a difference in the lives of these incredible animals and kids?
